Chef Tony DiSalvo, formerly chef de cuisine at New York's Jean Georges, oversees Jack’s three kitchens, which create a wide variety of exceptional dining experiences including sophisticated seafood, fowl, and beef entrees in The Dining Room, amazing pizzas, pastas, Kobe burgers, and moderately priced seafood and steaks entrees in The Grille, and grilled steaks, seafood and sushi entrees in The Ocean Room.
The most elegant of Jack’s three restaurants is The Dining Room at Jack’s La Jolla, which was recently voted one of San Diego's Top Seven San Diego restaurants. The sophisticated decor features vaulted ceilings, fountains, an open-air courtyard, and is complimented by an extensive, award winning wine list.
Located on the top floor is The Ocean Room, which has outdoor private cabanas with ocean views and a charming courtyard with a crackling fire every night. The Ocean Room features a sushi bar, and grilled seafood, and steaks. Chef Takeshi Okada, who trained in Osaka and Kyoto, has earned a reputation for creating the most beautiful and delicious sushi in town.
Jack’s is the place to be seen and watch the attractive crowd of young professionals. There is live music every night of the week and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons in the Beach Bar. The Wall Street Bar is known for its attractive crowd, who dance to Jack’s DJs Thursdays through Saturdays.
